We deliver to all of the serviced countries’ major cities and communities. Even if the country you’re looking for isn’t on the list of served locations, our regional center can check to see if we can make your cake delivery happen! If you have any questions about whether or not we service a specific location, please contact us.
 

Delivery Status Notification
 

Contacting CakesOverseas.com to ask about the progress of an existing order is simple. For faster service, please have your order number handy. We will contact you by phone and/or email if there are any issues with your order.

Please wait at least 2 business days for us to process your order for cake delivery to a specified location. We do, however, offer next-day shipping in many countries. Please visit the list of serviced countries for more information on how long it takes to deliver Cake internationally.

We cannot guarantee deliveries on Sundays or on legal holidays, so please make sure that your order information is accurate and complete to avoid delays in delivery.
 

Cake Delivery Times
 

Our deliveries usually take place throughout the day and into the evening. We can deliver at any time between 9:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. However, at this moment, we are unable to guarantee gift delivery requests for a given time or period. We do our best to accommodate requests for general times of day, such as morning or evening delivery; however, we can not guarantee them. Stay with us! We’ll let you know as soon as we have more information!

In some instances, we’ll phone your recipient to set up a delivery time. If the addressee is not home when the package is delivered, we will do one of the following:
 

  • Leave the cake with a neighbor and leave a note on your recipient’s door indicating the name of the person who accepted the cake on your behalf, or
  • Leave a note on your recipient’s door requesting them to call the number provided to schedule a redelivery at a time that is most convenient for them.
     

If your intended recipient will be at work on the day of your scheduled delivery, we suggest sending their gift to their workplace. Please keep in mind: an incomplete or incorrect address or phone number may delay delivery.
 

Guaranteed Delivery Days
 

Ground, Overnight, and Saturday deliveries are all guaranteed*. If our delivery courier fails to deliver your gift, we will refund your shipping costs. Please note that if the recipient was not at home (or at the specified address) when the package was delivered, this does not constitute our courier missing the delivery. Furthermore, events beyond our control, such as extreme weather, natural catastrophes, strikes, and other similar events, nullify the delivery promise.

Please keep in mind that the per-country delivery guarantee only applies to purchases placed by 10 a.m. local time with all required address information. Because of the increased carrier volume in November and December, we can not guarantee exact delivery dates, only that your gift will arrive at the earliest possible date.
 

Calling Recipient to Arrange Delivery
 

To ensure a seamless delivery, we usually require the recipient’s phone number so a local courier can call them when needed. When a local courier makes the delivery, the calls are usually made to check that the recipient is home at the scheduled delivery time.

Please keep in mind that we may not need to call the recipient in some circumstances (when the order is handled by a 3rd party shipper such as DHL, FedEx, UPS, or others). Local couriers have their own requirements and methods for address verification, and we have no control over their procedures.
 

Delivery Attempts
 

Please note that a local courier will try to deliver. If the cake cannot be delivered due to the recipient’s absence, it may be left at the local post office for the recipient to collect later (a notice will be left at the recipient’s door).

Please note: if the recipient fails to collect the present within two business days after the attempted delivery date, the cake’s contents will be ruined and discarded, and we will not be held liable.

When an alcohol present is delivered, a signature of a person aged 21 or older is necessary. If no one over the age of 21 is found home at the time of the initial delivery attempt, the present containing alcohol cannot be left at the door, and delivery will be attempted again. You confirm that you are at least 21 years old and that the intended gift recipient is at least 21 years old by purchasing this item.
 

Incorrect Recipient Information
 

CakesOverseas.com shall not be responsible for delivery delays or failure if the recipient’s address was mistakenly specified (and the correct phone number of the receiver was not provided), and no refund will be given.

Because the majority of our purchases are handled by a third-party carrier like DHL, FedEx, UPS, or others, when the address is inaccurate, adjustments in their records and rerouting may cause delivery to be delayed by 1-3 business days OR result in a full delivery failure (when the product shelf life no longer allows for delivery delay).

To ensure timely delivery, we strongly advise you to double-check the address and include a working LOCAL number for your recipient. Couriers are not able to dial numbers outside of the country of delivery.

Suppose your recipient moves away or cannot receive the gift within two business days of attempted delivery. In that case, the package will be returned or destroyed, and no refund will be given.

The order will be canceled as undeliverable if the recipient’s delivery information is inaccurate and no substitute information is provided in a timely manner.
 

Transaction Verification
 

Each order must go through a thorough verification process to ensure that the transaction is safe and secure and that your financial information is protected. Your order may be delayed if we are unable to contact you or if you fail to supply the relevant information on time. Please be aware that your order will not be dispatched until our fraud prevention team has verified your financial information.
 

Holiday Delivery Information
 

Most gift delivery agents require flexible delivery dates during busy holiday months due to the increased amount of floral and gift orders being delivered. As a result, same-day or next-day delivery is not available during the following important floral holiday periods: Valentine’s Day, Christmas, Mother’s Day, New Year’s Eve, or Easter.
 

Special Delivery Locations
 

Your recipient may not always be available at home or at work. We at CakesOverseas.com are committed to making it simple for you to deliver delicious cakes and luxury gifts anywhere in the world. Even if your recipient is at an unusual location like a hotel, cruise ship, hospital, school, or even church.

When we deliver to specific locations such as schools, churches, hotels, hospitals, or other restricted offices, our couriers are frequently not permitted to bring the gift directly to the recipient; instead, such deliveries are made to the reception desk and handed on to the recipient from there. Please keep in mind that, though these deliveries have a high success rate, we cannot always confirm that your recipient has received the present — especially if we don’t have a working phone number for them — and we cannot be held liable for any issues that arise with the present after it has been delivered to reception or front desk.

Please double-check that the recipient is permitted to receive packages at that location and that the recipient is known there by the name you provided on the order form. We will not be held liable for any delivery delays or failures caused by the recipient’s organization refusing to accept the cake. Learn more.
 

Cake Packaging & Containers
 

The form of cake packaging varies depending on the delivery area and season. Gifts may be delivered in a traditional gift basket, box, or chest (depending on area availability) and shipped in a carton (when required). Gift filler and protective packing may change from photographs displayed, however it is always the finest quality alternative available in your location to preserve your gift while shipping. We reserve the right to change the basket type, bow & wrap color, and holiday motif at the local designer’s discretion.
 

Multiple Cakes Ordered to the Same Address
 

It’s conceivable that if you order more than one cake or gift for the same address, the presents will not be dispatched from the same fulfillment center (or warehouses). It’s possible that products will arrive in different boxes or at various times. We will make every effort to match the arrival times for all goods in your order, but we cannot guarantee that they will all arrive at the same time; nevertheless, we can ensure that your gifts will arrive by the delivery date provided.
 

Easy Returns
 

Within 2 days of delivery, you or a gift recipient may return new, unopened Cakes Overseas items for a full refund. If the return is due to our error, we’ll also reimburse the return shipping charges in full. It is preferable to return items in their original packaging. Please contact us if you would like to return goods to our nearest warehouse. Within 2 business days, we will arrange for a pickup OR send you a return mailing label.
 

Prepayment Policy
 

All purchases processed by our company must be fully paid in advance; we will not be able to dispatch any presents until we have received full payment. To understand more, please visit our Payment Policy.
 

Substitution Policy
 

For urgent orders OR orders transported to remote places, slight modifications to your cakes and presents may be necessary due to product unavailability. To learn more, please see our Gift Substitution Policy.
 

Cancellation Policy
 

Although we do not cancel orders unless there is a valid cause, if a cancellation is granted by Management, our company may be required to impose a cancellation fee to cover administrative costs.

We do not accept cancellations once the gift has been dispatched under any circumstances.

Once the physical gift certificate has been mailed or the service has been paid at the salon, it is not possible to cancel the gift certificate. If you cancel your certificate order, you can only get a refund in the form of store credit.

To prevent any cancellation fees, please send us an e-mail, contact us via live chat, or call us within 1 hour of making your purchase or 5 working days prior to the delivery date.

PLEASE NOTE: Due to the fact that these orders are processed for shipment in a timely way, we will be unable to give a refund for them, we will only be able to cancel orders submitted for delivery between December 1 and December 31 within 1 hour of receiving the order.
 

Order Refused by a Recipient
 

Your cake recipient may, on rare occasions, reject the order for personal reasons or due to company policy. In this situation, we will provide the option of redirecting the order to a different address or recipient within the same nation. Additional payment for order redirection may be required if our organization has incurred costs for order processing and delivery to the original receiver. If there is no opportunity to divert the purchase to a different address or recipient within the same nation, there will be no reimbursement because each item sent is made-to-order, and many of the items are perishable and cannot be reused for another purchase.
 

Legal Terms
 

CakesOverseas.com follows all state and municipal regulations in each delivery country. In compliance with applicable local law, we serve as your agent in acquiring and obtaining the delivery of your gift. Licensed stores are in charge of fulfilling and delivering all orders. Where restricted, this offer is void. The legislation prohibits minors from receiving or sending liquor, beer, or wine.
