We know sending perishable items internationally can be scary and we at Cakes Overseas want you to know that even though problems can occasionally arise with your shipment, if that happens we will do everything in our power to make it right. With our 100% satisfaction and happiness guarantee, we will make sure you are happy with your purchase. If your cake comes damaged, we will send a new one! If it never arrives, we will replace it!  There is no problem too big or small in our eyes to make sure you walk away with a smile on your face.

Problem with your order?

Our Quality Control Team at Cakes Overseas checks every order to ensure its perfection and quality. However, due to circumstances outside of our control, sometimes orders might be delivered damaged and we want to fix it! If you receive a cake that has been damaged in transit, you must submit your complaint to our Customer Service Team within 48 hours of delivery. Please provide us with a picture of the damaged product so that we may properly rectify the problem. Please do not use filters on the photos.

Please note that our Quality Assurance Team may need to contact your recipient for information regarding the damage and delivery of their cake.

Our Investigation typically takes 1-2 business days to complete. During major holidays such as Christmas, New Year, Chinese New Year, Valentines Day, Women’s Day, etc., this may take slightly longer due to our business closures. 

Returns are Easy!

While we hope that your recipient loves their delivered cake, returns might sometimes be a necessity. Cakes Overseas offers returns on new, unopened items within 48 hours of delivery. If the return is due to an error on Cakes Overseas' part, we will also pay for the return shipping cost. All returns should be made within the original packaging and you may reach out to us to request a return of the product. We will send you a return label or arrange to have your order picked up.

Guidelines and Restrictions

While we continuously strive to provide 100% satisfaction, there are certain things that are out of the control of Cakes Overseas or our delivery and shipping vendors. Issues that do not fall under our 100% Satisfaction guarantee include customers who provide incorrect or incomplete delivery addresses or recipients who refuse delivery (for example recipients who are at a hospital). We cannot provide compensation or reimbursement for these issues. As well, for orders placed within 3 business days of major holidays including Christmas, New Year’s, Easter, Mother’s Day, or Valentine’s Day, our shipping guarantee is not applicable if the delivery falls outside the customer’s chosen delivery date. If your order results in compensation based on the scope of our policy, you will receive payment in the form of a full or partial refund against the payment amount, or discount vouchers for future orders.
