When your order is placed, our behind-the-scenes team sends your request to your local brand managers. They make sure your cake is Made With Love in Every Slice and high-quality decadent ingredients. We ship using a local courier like UPS, Fed-Ex, etc.

We pride ourselves on not only speedy delivery but also quality you can count on. Your cake is never pre-made or sitting on a display case somewhere. Your recipient deserves the kind of quality you can only get with a cake that is made after you’ve ordered it.

Why are there different prices for the same cake?
 

It may look weird, but we promise there is a perfectly reasonable explanation for price differences for the same cake product.

All of our cakes are made within the country of delivery. Regardless of where you order from, your recipient's cake will be made in their own backyard. With that being said, while one country might have a cake you would love to send, it’s feasible that that cake isn’t readily available in the country of your choosing. Our Regional Brand Managers work together to provide you with a multitude of options, even if you don’t see them on our website.

While you might see the same cake in Australia and Canada, the price of the ingredients may differ wildly between the two countries resulting in different pricing (although relatively small). Since all of our cakes are made locally for your recipient to guarantee freshness and speedy delivery, some cakes might have a slightly higher price tag. At Cakes Overseas, we believe in a quality product, fast delivery, and a smooth gifting process from beginning to end. How are you able to guarantee freshness when you have to send my cake halfway across the world?
 

That’s a great question, and we think you’re going to be surprised at our response! The answer is: We don’t send it halfway across the world!

That’s right! In each of our countries, we staff Regional Brand Managers who go the extra mile for you and your recipient. Our cakes are made in the country of your recipient and delivered within a week of your order! With this process, we don’t have to worry about spoiling or your cake going bad!

We also use local couriers such as UPS and FedEx, and if those aren’t available, we hire the best shipping companies to deliver your cake in a timely and efficient manner.

I want to ship my cake overseas. How do you do that?
 

Great Question! Cakes Overseas use couriers you know and trust in some of the larger countries, such as UPS, Fed-Ex, DHL, and USPS. In smaller countries where these aren’t available, you can trust that we work with independent delivery companies that will provide the same measure of care for your cake!
 

How long will it take for my recipient to receive their cake?
 

While we can’t tell you the EXACT day, your cake will arrive when you order it, we can guarantee they will receive it within a week. Most of our cakes are delivered between 2 and 4 business days! Check out our Delivery Times By Country!

The country I want to send to isn’t on your list? Can I still send a cake there?
 

While Cakes Overseas does deliver to over 200 countries around the globe, including in Europe, Australia, America, and Africa, if you don’t find it on our list, have no fear! We might still be able to send a cake gift to your desired country. Cakes Overseas offers a distant delivery option for those deliveries outside our standard service area. The added shipping fee for distant delivery is based on distance, geographical conditions, and weather. Please Contact Us to find out more!
 

How much is it going to cost to send a cake to a location that’s not in your listed locations?
 

While we can’t give you a specific dollar amount for distance delivery, we can tell you it typically ranges from an additional $20 USD to $39 USD. Our 24/7 Customer Service staff is standing by to help you order cakes with ease with Cakes Overseas.

All communication at Cakes Overseas is done through email and phone conversations between international offices. What are your traditional delivery time frames? What if I need it at a different time?
 

In most instances, Cakes Overseas delivers your recipient’s cake between the hours of 9 am and 9 pm local time. However, if you’re looking for a time frame outside of these hours, we’re happy to see if we can fulfill your request. Please reach out to our 24/7 Customer Service Team for more information.
 

Wait! You charged my credit card before my recipient received their cake?
 

As soon as you hit submit on your order with Cakes Overseas, your credit card will be charged in real-time. You will receive an email from our secure payment processor Verisign with details regarding your purchase. If you would like to place an advanced order with us, select “OFFLINE METHODS” and then Contact Us to assist you further.

I don’t have the complete phone number and/or address for my recipient. Can you still send their cake?
 

While having this information is the best option, the answer to your question is yes. We can attempt to reach your recipient via email or instant messenger to clarify delivery details. If a phone number is not provided, or is incorrect, we will only be able to guarantee a delivery date once we’ve heard back from you or your recipient.
 

Oh no! My Recipient won’t be home. What happens now?
 

We know that sometimes these things happen, and we have many options if your recipient isn’t home. We can leave it outside their door (although we do not recommend this for apartment buildings), as well as leaving it at a neighbor’s home. If you’re not comfortable with that, we can leave them a local phone number your recipient can call to pick it up themselves. For an additional fee, we can re-deliver it at a time they will be home. If you need to specify certain delivery options, please fill out the Comments/Order Details section of your order form, or Contact Us for more information.
 

I think this is the correct address. Can you go there and verify it?
 

Cakes Overseas is happy to validate the address of your recipient for a small $40USD fee. A local courier will verify the address of your recipient. To do this, please Contact Us to make arrangements. *Please Note: If we are unable to deliver your gift due to an incorrect address given, we will apply your payment to cover courier costs, communication costs, and materials costs.
 

I need to add something more to my already placed order. Can you help?
 

At Cakes Overseas, we NEVER save credit card information on our server. Once your transaction is completed, the data is deleted, and we’re unable to charge your card for an additional item. To order an additional product, you’ll need to re-enter your credit card information again. Please Contact Us to explore options for adding more products to your order.
 

Is it possible to send my cake delivery as a surprise?
 

While Cakes Overseas CAN deliver your cake as a surprise, we don’t necessarily recommend it. If your recipient is not home for the delivery, multiple delivery attempts can be made; however, we cannot guarantee the freshness of your cake. Multiple delivery attempts may result in extra delivery fees. Should you still choose a Surprise Delivery, please notate this in the Comments section of your order and we will make sure to schedule your delivery without disclosing your name or your cake contents.
 

Are you able to deliver to other buildings such as Churches, Hospitals, or Hotels?
 

100% Yes! At Cakes Overseas, our goal is to quickly deliver fresh and delicious cakes worldwide, including non-traditional locations such as hotels, schools, or even churches.

  2. 2. Review Your Options! Many of our cakes come with additional greeting cards or extra add-ons. Review everything carefully and then select ADD TO CART. Remember, you can add more than one item to your cart for easy multi-ordering.
     
  3. 3. View Your Cart! Once you finished shopping, click on your VIEW CART.
     
  4. 4. Verify your items! Take a look at your cart and verify all of the items are what you’re looking to send. Once everything looks perfect, click on COMPLETE ORDER.
     
  5. 5. New or Returning Customer? If you’re a new customer, select COMPLETE ORDER on this page. If you’re a returning customer, you can enter your past order numbers or name/zip code combination to recall past orders.
     
  6. 6. Recipient Information and Billing! Fill in all of the information for your recipient, along with your billing information, in the included form. Click on VERIFY ORDER to continue.
     
  7. 7. Review and Pay! Review all of your information and submit your payment details. (Here’s a list of all the ways you can pay!). From here, you can add additional comments or click the COMPLETE ORDER button.
     

Shortly after placing your order, you should receive a confirmation email with your order number. (Please make sure our email address, [email protected] has not been whitelisted or blocked by anti-spam filters). Please contact us if you do not receive this email.
 

 
How do I know my recipient received their delivered cake?
 

On the day of your delivery, you will receive an email confirmation on the completion of your delivery. This typically happens at the end of the business day in the recipient's country. In rare cases, this can take up to 24 hours. If your order has been delayed for some reason, Cakes Overseas will send you an email with information.
 

I checked your Order Tracker Tool and see that my order is still marked ‘In Process’ and it’s past the delivery time. What happened?
 

Have no fear! Sometimes our tools are a little behind the delivery. In some instances, it can take up to 4-6 hours for the delivery status to be marked as ‘Delivered.’ In some of our distant locations, the internet is not readily available and since all of our order statuses are changed by hand, it might take us a few hours to change your delivery status. Check back in just a few short hours, and it should be changed.
 

Why doesn’t your Order Tracker Tool have the couriers tracking number in its information?
 

Cakes Overseas doesn’t always use the same courier for each delivery. In some smaller locations, we might use a smaller courier to deliver your cake to your recipient. Our 24/7 Customer Service Team is available and ready to help with any of your tracking questions.
 

 
I would like to send a personalized note along with the gift card I’m ordering for someone. Is that possible?
 

Absolutely. After you’ve entered your address information on your check-out page, there is a section for you to include a personalized note to your recipient.
 

Can I add my company's logo to the personalized card?
 

Cakes Overseas offers free printing of your company’s logo, slogan, or branding on your card. Learn more here. After purchase, send a high quality (300dpi), .JPEG, .PNG, or .TIFF files along with your order number to [email protected]. Cakes Overseas asks you to allow an additional 7 days from the date of payment for logo printing.
 

I don’t quite see exactly what I want. Can I request a custom cake?
 

100% Yes! While Cakes Overseas has hundreds of cakes for you to choose from, sometimes we just don’t have exactly what you’re looking for. Contact one of our world-class Customer Service Reps to discuss your custom cake order!
 

 
Is my order information secure and private?
 

Cakes Overseas always keeps your information private. Any information given to us as a result of your order will never be shared. This information includes your name, address, email address, phone number, and a credit card or payment information. Your recipient's name and address will be shared with our local bakeries but with no one else. We never store your credit card or PayPal information, making it impossible for hackers to access your private information.
 

Is my Information secure with you?
 

Absolutely! Detailed information about our security can be found here. Once you’ve placed your order, you will be redirected to our secure payment page. With this level of security, Cakes Overseas establishes a secure connection between your computer and our server. We are able to keep your personal information from unauthorized parties with the use of Secure Sockets Layering (SSL), an advanced encryption technology used to protect the storage and transfer of your data. Your order will remain encrypted until it is safely behind the firewalls of our order-processing center. Cakes Overseas DOES NOT store your credit card or PayPal information in our database.
 

Do you share or sell my personal information with outside sources?
